CHAPTER CALENDAR OF EVENTS

September 5, 2025

Joint Meeting:  Abbies Dolleys and Jackies

"The Rise and Fall of Antiques and Collectables"

Presented by:

Confederate Rose Auctions and Estate Liquidators

Host: Jackies

10:00 – 12:00 at Homer E. Wright Event Center

For our generation, the antique world is a fascinating and exciting realm where history, art and craftsmanship come together. Many of us have treasured heirlooms that evoke a lifetime of memories.

However, once prized for their craftmanship, rarity and historical significance, the demand for antiques and collectables has decreased. Though the market has evolved due to shifting cultural values, economic trends and generational tastes, antiques continue to inspire a deep appreciation for heritage, craftsmanship and timeless design.

Despite the decrease in demand, antiques and collectables are irreplaceable and there continues to be a market for these heirlooms. Finding a home or market for these heirlooms is key. Confederate Rose can be a valuable source for pinpointing these markets.

Join us for a presentation by the experts at Confederate Rose to discuss the rise and fall of antiques and today’s marketplace.

Jackies – Snacks, Dolleys – Beverages, Abbies – Paper Goods
