Dear Vintage Ladies:
Welcome back to another year of the Vintage Ladies of St. James! I hope your summer was filled with time spent with family and friends, a little relaxation, and perhaps a few new adventures along the way.
As I look ahead to our 2026–2027 year, I am excited about all we have to look forward to. Each of our chapter Program Chairs and their committees have worked so hard to put together a wonderful year of programs, day trips, and special gatherings. Their creativity and enthusiasm have given us a calendar filled with opportunities to learn, explore, and enjoy one another’s company.
Of course, what makes Vintage Ladies so special to me is the women who make up this club. Whether we’ve been friends for years or are just getting to know one another, there is something wonderful about being part of a group that shares our love of history, collectibles, and vintage treasures. The friendships, laughter, and memories we make together are what keep us coming back
year after year.
A heartfelt thank you to all of our Chairs and Committee Members for the work they have put into making this year possible. I know how much time and effort goes into planning these events, and I am so grateful for everything you do to make Vintage Ladies such a wonderful part of our lives.
One of the many highlights this year will be a unique bus trip to Raleigh, North Carolina, exploring the historic State Capitol and the colonial home of
Joel Lane, known as the “Father of the State Capital City of Raleigh,” with guided tours that bring the city’s rich history to life. The day also includes shopping at the historic Village District, followed by an afternoon reception and browsing at Pigfish Lane Antiques & Interiors, where I know many of us will enjoy the chance to discover a few special treasures along the way!
I look forward to seeing all of you soon and sharing another year of fun, friendship, and wonderful discoveries.
