"The Vintage Ladies will be having a Joint Chapters meeting on Friday, November 5th, 10:00 a m at the SJCC and we are in for a treat!
Our speaker, Steve Colo's topic is "Riding with Ronnie". Yes, "That" Ronnie.
Steve has enjoyed a distinguished career with the United States Secret Service. During his 26 year tenure, Steve served as an assistant director and he was the chief financial officer. Steve also did criminal investigations and he interviewed John Hinckley the day Hinckley shot President Ronald Reagan.
Steve will give the Vintage Ladies a view into the personal side of the job of a Secret Service agent. Steve will spotlight his role in protecting President Ronald Reagan and in interacting with the President's family.
We will leave our meeting with an appreciation of the myriad roles of a Secret Service Agent and we will get a behind the curtain glimpse of the personal life of the 40th President of the United States.”
Please note that NO refreshments will be served (feel free to bring your own drinks) and Masks are required.
